Help a Capital Child

Help a Capital Child, previously known as Help a London Child, was founded in 1975 by Lord Attenborough CBE, as Capital FM's charity to assist and give opportunities to thousands of children and young people experiencing abuse, homelessness, disability, poverty and illness. Over the last 35 years the charity has raised in excess of £25 million and awarded that amount to over 13,000 small groups across the Capital, directly helping over 1.4 million children. From January 2011, while retaining its core base of support and work in London, the charity started to roll out its activity to help children across the entire Capital network.

Help a Capital Child will receive £1 per recyclable cartridge that you register and return.

Help a Capital Child is an appeal run by Global Charities, a registered charity in England and Wales (1091657) and Scotland (SC041475), and relies on fundraising to sustain its work.
