Action Against Hunger is a leading organisation in the fight against hunger. The charity believes that all people in the world should have the basic human right to sufficient food and water, to have equitable access to the resources that sustain life and be able to live with the knowledge that they will have sufficient food to survive the future. The organisation strives to save and improve lives, especially those of malnourished children, by treating diseases and malnutrition.
With programmes in 43 countries, the charity provides for people's immediate needs when food is scarce, and provides families with the tools, seeds and support they need to build a sustainable future. It also creates land that allows crops to be grown and water wells to allow safe drinking, as part of its food security and water sanitation programmes which are vital to combat hunger and disease.
Action Against Hunger will receive £1 per recyclable cartridge and £3 per recyclable mobile phone that you register and return.
